AI Workshop Activity
These activities are designed to help you learn by doing. The goal is to set your AI up to understand your business — think of it as “feeding the AI” the context it needs to produce better, more accurate results.
Along the way, you’ll get practical insights into how your business comes across online, how clearly your website tells your story, and where your messaging could be sharpened. We’ll then use that foundation to move into creating more engaging, creative content with AI.
You can use any AI tool you prefer (free or paid).
Step 1. Develop Brand Master Prompt
Within the project ask ChatGPT to create a master prompt for your visuals
Prompt:
Analyse this brand based on the visual design, colours, layout and overall tone.
Identify:
• the brand personality
• the likely target audience
• the visual style
• the colour palette
• the photography style
• the emotional tone of the brand
Then create a reusable "Brand Master Prompt" that I can use when generating images, videos or marketing content with AI.
The master prompt should ensure that all AI outputs remain visually consistent with this brand.
Step 2. Develop Marketing Personas
Within the project ask your AI tool to generate four marketing personas for your business or organisation.
Copy and paste the prompt below into the chat.
Prompt:
Based on the information above, generate four marketing personas for my business/organisation.
For each persona, include the following sections:
1) Persona Overview
- Persona name (realistic Australian name — this will be used as the character’s name in prompts)
- Demographics (age range, location, household/family situation if relevant)
- Role / situation (job, industry, business stage, or life stage)
- Primary goal (what they want to achieve)
2) Pain Points and Barriers
- Key pain points (their problems and frustrations)
- Common objections (reasons they hesitate to buy/engage)
- What “success” looks like to them
3) How We Respond
- How our business/organisation can respond to those pain points
- Key messages that will resonate (3–5 dot points in plain language)
- Best content angles (3 post/video ideas tailored to this persona)
4) Repeatable Character Card (Named)
Create a repeatable character card for [Persona name] that I can reuse consistently across AI-generated images and videos.
Include:
- Character role in our content (e.g., “the customer”, “the learner”, “the decision-maker”)
- Personality traits (3–5)
- Visual description (face, hair, clothing, accessories, overall vibe — keep it respectful and realistic)
- Setting style (where [Persona name] is usually shown: home, worksite, office, outdoors, etc.)
- Brand alignment notes (how to subtly reflect our brand tone and colours in clothing/props/background without forcing it)
- 3 signature scenes (repeatable situations featuring [Persona name])
5) AI Image Prompt Pack (Copy/Paste Ready)
Provide 5 reusable prompts for generating consistent images of [Persona name].
Each prompt must:
- Start with the character name [Persona name] so I can refer to them later
- Include consistent identifiers (age range, hair, clothing style, vibe) to keep them visually consistent
- Use Australian context where relevant
- Avoid stereotypes and keep representation respectful
- If my brand colours are provided above, incorporate them subtly (e.g., wardrobe accent colour, props, signage, UI elements)
Prompts required:
- Base Portrait Prompt (neutral background, marketing-quality)
- In-Context Prompt (in their typical environment)
- Problem Moment Prompt (showing the pain point)
- Solution Moment Prompt (engaging with our service/product)
- Success Moment Prompt (happy outcome)
6) Optional Video Prompt (if supported by my tools)
Provide:
- One image-to-video prompt featuring [Persona name] (camera motion + mood + setting)
- A 15-second voiceover script spoken as if [Persona name] is narrating in a natural Australian tone
- A music direction note (genre/mood, no copyrighted tracks)
Output Format
Present the output as four clearly labelled personas (Persona 1–4).
For each persona, separate the
Character Card and
Prompt Pack clearly so I can save them and reuse them later.
Optional: Deep research
Prompt:
Based on the Business Snapshot you created for my website [PASTE URL], identify 5–8 comparable Australian organisations that:
- Offer similar services
- Target a similar audience
- Operate in a similar geographic context (regional, remote, national, etc. — if relevant)
For each organisation, provide:
- Business name + website
- One-line summary of what they do
- What their website does particularly well (clarity, trust, positioning, storytelling, visuals, CTA, etc.)
- One idea I could ethically borrow or adapt
Then provide:
Industry Pattern Analysis
- 3 common messaging themes competitors emphasise
- 3 common weaknesses or gaps across competitor websites
Positioning Opportunity
- Based on my Business Snapshot, where can I differentiate?
- What should I emphasise more strongly to stand out? (3 strategic angles)
Important:
- Do not guess competitors. Only include real Australian organisations.
- If my niche is unclear, ask before proceeding.
