AI Workshop Activity

These activities are designed to help you learn by doing. The goal is to set your AI up to understand your business — think of it as “feeding the AI” the context it needs to produce better, more accurate results.

Along the way, you’ll get practical insights into how your business comes across online, how clearly your website tells your story, and where your messaging could be sharpened. We’ll then use that foundation to move into creating more engaging, creative content with AI.

You can use any AI tool you prefer (free or paid).

Step 1. Teach AI about your business

Prompt:

You are my AI workshop assistant.
First, review my website:
[PASTE URL].

Task 1: Extract what you can from the site and write a Business Snapshot with these headings:

  • What we do (services/products)
  • Who we help (target audiences)
  • Where we operate (locations/service area)
  • What makes us different (differentiators)
  • Proof (results, testimonials, case studies, clients, accreditations)
  • Primary call-to-action (what the site wants visitors to do)
  • Tone/brand voice (how it comes across)

Task 2: Ask only the missing questions.
If anything is unclear or not found on the website, ask me up to
4 clarifying questions to fill the gaps.

Important rules:

  • Do not guess or invent details. If it’s not on the site, say “Not found on website”.
  • If the website has multiple audiences/services, identify the top 2–3 and ask me which to prioritise.

Step 2.  Create a pitch

Prompt:

Imagine you are a financier and I have 30 seconds to pitch my business.
Use:
  1. the business snapshot above
  2. my answers to your clarifying questions (if any).
Create:
  1. a 30-second spoken pitch (90–120 words, plain spoken)
  2. a one-sentence value proposition
  3. 3 proof points I can use (if proof isn’t on the site, list what proof I should gather)
  4. one clear call-to-action I should say at the end (e.g., book a consult, request a quote, etc.)
Constraints:
  • Australian English
  • No buzzwords
  • Be specific; avoid vague claims

Optional:  Deep research

Prompt:

Based on the Business Snapshot you created for my website [PASTE URL], identify 5–8 comparable Australian organisations that:

  • Offer similar services
  • Target a similar audience
  • Operate in a similar geographic context (regional, remote, national, etc. — if relevant)

For each organisation, provide:

  • Business name + website
  • One-line summary of what they do
  • What their website does particularly well (clarity, trust, positioning, storytelling, visuals, CTA, etc.)
  • One idea I could ethically borrow or adapt

Then provide:

Industry Pattern Analysis

  • 3 common messaging themes competitors emphasise
  • 3 common weaknesses or gaps across competitor websites

Positioning Opportunity

  • Based on my Business Snapshot, where can I differentiate?
  • What should I emphasise more strongly to stand out? (3 strategic angles)

Important:

  • Do not guess competitors. Only include real Australian organisations.
  • If my niche is unclear, ask before proceeding.

Step 3.  Support pitch with AI- generated visuals

Prompt:

Using the 30-second pitch we developed earlier, create 3 different image concepts that visually represent my business and its value.

For each concept, provide:

  1. The core idea behind the image (what it represents)
  2. A detailed AI image prompt I can copy and paste into an image generation tool
  3. The intended audience reaction (what they should feel or think)

Requirements:

  • Make the visuals realistic and suitable for business use
  • Avoid clichés unless strategically useful
  • Reflect my industry and Australian context (if relevant)
  • Ensure the visuals align with my key differentiator
  • Then ask me which direction feels strongest and refine that concept further.

Well done you are now good to go

We suggest adding this chat to a project, as it has know learnt about your business which can inform future outputs.
