eLearn Content Creator

We are seeking an experienced adult educator looking to expand into online learning. As an eLearn Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing engaging and interactive online learning materials for a variety of subjects and audiences. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), and Captovate's internal designers and developers to create high-quality eLearning content that meets the needs of our clients.


Location: Darwin or Adelaide

Visa Status: Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or 417 Visa, need only apply.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the client and their SMEs to identify learning objectives, content requirements, and target audiences for eLearning materials.
  • Develop the structure of the content, write the script, and formulate storyboards via PowerPoint.
  • Communicate visual needs to our internal designers and developers, providing guidance on ways to use interactive multimedia elements, simulations, scenarios, and other interactive activities to enhance the learning experience.
  • Develop assessments and quizzes to measure learner understanding and knowledge retention.
  • Ensure eLearning content is accessible and follows best practices for web-based learning, including responsive design, usability, and accessibility compliance.
  • Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, and quality assurance.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in eLearning and instructional design.

Candidate Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive eLearning content
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with SMEs, instructional designers, and other stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learning needs, and continuously update skills and knowledge in the field of eLearning and instructional design.
  • Ability to understand accessibility standards and best practices for web-based learning.
