Who We Are

Michael has over 16 years experience in digital communications. He has extensive experience in managing large complex web projects, specialising in web usability and information architecture.

He has been instrumental in driving integrated digital strategies for many major organisations, including Charles Darwin University, Darwin City Council, and the Northern Territory Government.

He's also the big cheese around here, and not a bad boss really!

Karen has 8 years experience in managing multimedia and education projects, along with post-graduate qualifications in IT project management.

Karen supports clients to identify their needs, coordinating information flow and managing project milestones to ensure the process is stress-free and within designated timelines.

More often than not, the first voice you hear over the phone and the first smiling face you see in the office will be our office manager, Peta.

Peta is the essential glue that binds us all together to ensure everything runs smoothly in the Captovate office. In addition, Peta helps us out with all kinds of key tasks in our web projects including customer relationship management, project management and information architecture.

Ramon Vincent is one of our awesome account managers. Since graduating from Adelaide University with a Master of Marketing in 2010, he has had diverse experience in marketing strategy, event coordination and client management. Ramon brings a healthy mix of enthusiasm, technological know-how and strategic awareness to the Captovate team.

Ramon has great people management skills and gets his kicks from helping clients fulfil their vision and seeing projects into fruition.

Andrea Anderson an Account Manager and a marketing guru who loves working with clients to identify, develop and implement their online brand presence. She holds a Marketing Honours degree and has a range of practical experience across marketing, communications, media and event activities.

Andrea is people and communication orientated and as such, thrives on providing clients with the support and direction to not only meet, but exceed their business objectives.

A pom that’s spent the last 5 years in the Territory, Andrea is proud to call Darwin home.

Tuan Nguyen has been designing and developing websites for over 12 years. He has been recognised for his exceptional visual and concept problem solving skills. He brings a high-level of design sensibility with the ability to produce and direct a variety of creative on-target solutions to any given problem.

From interactive media to traditional graphic design, Tuan can bring the innovation and expertise needed for successful visual communications.

Digital Media Designer/Developer Emma Blake brings over ten years experience in multimedia design both in Australia and overseas to her role in the Captovate team. She has a superb knack for bringing communications to life on screen with interactivity and creative visual techniques across all kinds of digital media.

But Emma's talents don't stop there, she's got history in traditional graphic design and marketing, which means she pulls fully integrated online and offline campaigns together beautifully.

Our resident pommy influence, Laura is not only expert at cups of tea and Eastenders, she’s also an amazing graphic designer to boot! After studying graphic design and web development at Leeds Met in the UK, Laura has worked both overseas and locally specialising in creative web technologies, including the rapidly growing arena of Social Media design and integration.

Laura loves a good collaborative project, where she gets to work together with a whole bunch of people from clients, to creatives to developers who are all commited to producing an amazing outcome.

Corey has been working in web development, both freelance and with NT technology companies, since graduating from Charles Darwin University in 2007. He brings a range of web design and development skills and has experience in developing web content management systems to highest levels of web standards for accessibility and usability.

Aditya has extensive programming and development gained from working around the world. Not surprisingly, he loves to code and enjoys researching new technologies and methodologies to implement into projects.

Aditya's strong attention to detail brings the work of our designers to life.

Justin has experience in a wide range of areas, going from embedded programming to web development. He strongly believes in the importance of web standards for usability and accessibility and closely follows the latest innovations in the field.

He likes to implement new technologies in his projects and his ultimate dream would be the Semantic Web brought to reality!

Shahriar is highly experienced in mobile app development for both Android and iOS. He is a firm believer of coding in native languages to deliver the maximum capability and performance. Shahriar has worked with Captovate on our most recent iPhone apps for NATSIAA and secureNT.

His extensive experience includes over 12 years in Commercial and Enterprise development, 3D Games, business productivity tools, product promotion apps and customised in-house mobile apps for business. Shahriar has been involved in the design and implementation of custom platforms across several industries, working with open source and proprietary frameworks and technologies.

Karen Melville is our number cruncher and ensures we get paid which is very important!

Karen's finance experience spans over 15 years working with many well known Darwin companies. P&L's and Balance Sheets are her passion and her head for numbers and eye for detail is what keeps the Captovate engine running.
