Off The Leash is a popular monthly guide to what’s on across the Top End. The digital version of Off The Leash has now become the ultimate hub for people searching for events in the NT.
Taking a fresh approach to the new website, we went mobile first and created a multi layered website structure that pulled out the event categories in their own navigation. This allows people to get straight to the event type they’re interested in. For users that know the name of the event they'd like to attend, we created a prefill search function that gets people to their event in one click.
A key focus for the project was to improve the experience for event managers to upload and submit their events. Anyone can register for an account and submit events, though they are moderated by site administrators before being published. The moderators can promote these events by featuring them on the homepage banner, what’s on section, or the event category landing page.
